The most widely used blocklists (ZEN = SBL, XBL, PBL, CSS). Not queried here: Spamhaus refuses queries from shared public resolvers.

Getting delisted: Check an address at check.spamhaus.org. XBL and CSS entries can usually be removed there once the cause is fixed; PBL lists dynamic ranges by design.

Always find the cause first: a compromised account, an infected server or a customer's VM sending spam. An address that keeps sending is listed again within hours.

Questions

How do I get removed from Spamhaus?
Check an address at check.spamhaus.org. XBL and CSS entries can usually be removed there once the cause is fixed; PBL lists dynamic ranges by design.
Why is my IP on Spamhaus?
Something on that address sent mail or traffic that hit the list's traps or reports: a compromised account, malware, an open relay, or a previous user of the address.

Keep your IPs off blocklists

Frabs stops spam, scans and floods at the VM's network interface, so one customer can't get your whole range listed.
