IPv6 Test

IPv6 Test checks whether a domain publishes a public AAAA record, the DNS record type that makes a site reachable over IPv6 rather than only the older IPv4.

This matters because IPv6 adoption is still uneven. A growing share of mobile and residential connections are IPv6 only or IPv6 preferred, and a site with no AAAA record at all is invisible to them over IPv6, falling back to slower or, in some network configurations, entirely unavailable IPv4 paths.

This is a DNS level check of what a domain announces, not a live connection test. Whether a specific visitor can actually reach a site over IPv6 also depends on their own network, which this tool has no way to see from where it runs.
